Product Category:

CPAP

Manufacturer:

Respironics

Product Description:

The REMstar heated humidifier analyzes ambient temperature, changing environmental conditions, relative humidity, and patient airflow to deliver optimum humidity and ultimate comfort.  The humidifier's Dry Box technology isolates the water source from the inner workings of the device to protect against accidental spillage and water damage.  The sleek design, as part of the System One series, fully integrates with all other System One units seamlessly.  The sleekly designed humidifier, even with a chamber filled to the "Full" indicator line, can be tilted, shaken, and even turned upside down without water leaking back into the device.

Features:

  • Humidity Control technology ensures humidification levels are preserved each night even in changing environmental conditions
  • Sensors inside and outside the CPAP machine closely monitor changes in humidity and prevent condensation from forming inside the tube
  • Dry Box technology reduces water damage to CPAP; new configuration prevents water from exiting chamber
  • Air outlet port is moved to top of humidifier to center entire delivery and minimize total water displacement around the hole
  • Water chamber is outfitted with one-way valve; water trying to escape is trapped in Dry Box reservoir
